Major Design Goals:

• Update a dated wet bar
• Basic configuration worked for owner’s needs
• Improve lighting
• Allow for visibility of owner’s collectibles & bar glassware
• Make wet bar more inviting

How Goals Were Accomplished:

• Oppressive ceiling hung cabinets (with bottom @ 6’ high) were removed to allow for more open & inviting feel
• New maple cabinets were selected to maintain open feeling, & quality
• Utilized lots of glass doors, open shelf areas, & glass shelves to allow for interior cabinet hockey puck lighting to filter down to glass shelves below for highlighting owner’s barware & collectibles
• Radius countertop overhangs create an inviting refuge from the days labors
• Dark granite slabs & tile backsplashes were selected to allow for quality feel
